GST invoices for online sellers
Raise a GST tax invoice from an order in a few clicks, with the tax split the way the place of supply requires, and correct mistakes the lawful way — with a credit note.
What it does today
CGST and SGST, or IGST
The tax on each invoice is split by comparing your state with the place of supply: CGST and SGST within a state, IGST between states.
HSN codes on every line
Set an HSN code on a product and it is printed on every invoice line for that product.
Gapless numbers per financial year
Invoice numbers run without gaps or duplicates for each financial year, even when several invoices are issued at the same moment.
Issued invoices cannot be edited
An issued invoice is never changed. A mistake is corrected by issuing a credit note that refers to it, which leaves an auditable pair.
What it does not do
It does not generate e-invoices with an IRN from the GST portal, and it does not file GST returns. Invoices are downloaded as PDF for your records and your accountant.
Price
Plans are priced per month in rupees: Free ₹0, Starter ₹999, Growth ₹2,999, Scale ₹9,999.
ecommercesarthi plans cover ecommercesarthi only. Marketplace commissions and fees, Shopify’s own subscription, Razorpay’s payment charges and courier charges are billed by those providers and are not included in any plan.
Indian marketplaces
Amazon India and Flipkart are pending each marketplace’s approval; Myntra, Meesho and AJIO need partner onboarding first. See where each one stands and join the waitlist.
Questions
Does it create e-invoices with an IRN?
No. It issues GST tax invoices as PDF; e-invoice registration with the GST portal is not built in.
Does it file my GST returns?
No. It keeps the invoices and credit notes your return is prepared from.
How is IGST decided?
By comparing your registered state with the place of supply on the order: different states mean IGST, the same state means CGST and SGST.
